DescriptionThe Agilent OmniBER family provides comprehensive error and jitter testing for PDH, SDH, SONET and G.709 OTN at standard rates from 1.5 Mbit/s through to 10 Gb/s. With functionality ranging from overhead error and alarm analysis, through jitter generation and analysis, to multi-channel, multi-port network simulation and analysis, the OmniBER test family covers all applications from R&D through Q&V, manufacturing and acceptance. The OmniBER family is particularly well suited to testing next generation transport devices and equipment, such as next generation SONET/SDH and ITU-T G.709 OTN (or Optical Channel).
